The Marrow Thieves
Are there any pages with them talking about stereotypes against indigenous people?

I'm not sure about a particular page but I can comment on this. When French is a youngster, the government sets up “schools” where Native Americans of all ages are taken to have their dreams harvested. These are not actual schools, but the fact that they are called schools is yet an example of the comparison of French's current situation to the historic persecution of Native Canadians. In the book, Aboriginal Canadians are being hunted which is not terribly unlike what happened in Canada's history to varying degrees. The main characters challenge stereotypes of indigenous populations. They are not drunks stuck on a reserve and dependant on government. They are in fact freedom fighters who are tough, resourceful, and wise. They are the "good guys" for once.
