What does the magic finger work?

The unnamed narrator has her dormant power called "The Magic Finger" inadvertently activated. This causes a strange beam of light to shoot out of her finger -- causing strange consequences. Her anger is compounded by her next-door neighbors, who love to hunt. After one day witnessing her neighbors walking home with a deer in tow, her so-called "magic finger" once again becomes activated. The girl, in turn, shrinks her neighbors and makes them develop wings.
