How is London presented in The Lonely Londoners?

In this text the immigrant characters do not find a warm welcome in London. They are instantly labelled as 'other', and are therefore not given the same chances to seek work, opportunities and housing. They are also prevented from visiting certain places. The city is presented as being lonely, alienated and stagnated. London is also presented as being eclectic and confusing, with lots of separate communities. As Moses describes, it 'divide[s] up in little worlds.'
