When writing the novel and describing the tea, Lewis has said he made sure to refer to all of the things he'd missed because of wartime rationing. Therefore Lucy indulged in all of the things he remembered missing..... the butter, the honey, the sugar and the cakes weren't plentiful during the war, but they were in Narnia. This made her tea there all the more special.
