What characteristics do Percy and his mother have in common? How do they differ ?

They are both free spirits and determined. Percy's mother knows more about their past and is prepared to sacrifice herself for Percy. She sees the dangers that Percy faces while Percy knows very little about his past and what is going on.

Can you explain this because i don't get what is in common and differ.

The characteristics they had in common are that they are determined and rebellious. They are different because Percy’s mother knows that Percy is in danger but, Percy doesn’t know that he is in danger.

They are partially the same because Percy's mom is always positive but Percy is mid.
