The Jilting of Granny Weatherall

the jilting of granny weatherall

In paragraph 49, whom do you guess to be the man who "cursed like a sailor's parrot"? In paragraph 56, whom do you assume to be the man driving d chart? is the fact that these persons are not clearly labeled and identified a failure on the author's part?

The man who "cursed like a parrot" was a guest at her wedding (a wedding that never happened). He was the guest who caught Granny when she fainted and offered to kill the man who'd jilted her.
