Chapter 4

In Chapter Four, we see Katniss actually begin to enjoy Peeta's company. She seems to appreciate his kindness and notice the respect he affords others. Unfortunately, she also knows that in the end, she and Peeta might end up as opponents. She knows that letting her guard down might end up costing her her life.
