Ch.7 Verbal Irony?

at the end of chapter 7 there is an example of verbal irony. what does katniss say that makes it verbal irony

The irony is that the dignitaries and sponsors are basically ignoring Katniss until she shoots an arrow at the apple in the pig. The dignitaries are startled into noticing her. Katniss ironicaly says, Thank you for your consideration. ch 7
