In Chapter Eight, Watson writes of two things that increase his suspicions of Barrymore. What are they?

1) Barrymore admitted to receiving the telegram, and Watson was worried about Mrs. Barrymore's demeanor. She was crying incessantly, leading him to believe that she was abused.

2) Watson saw Barrymore lurking about outside of the house in the wee hours of the morning.
