Where in Chapter 5 does it discuss where Bilbo has stepped out of his comfort zone of being a Baggins and demonstrated the Took side of himself?

When Bilbo realizes he is carrying the blade from Gondolin, he puts away his self-pity, and like a Took.... thinks of adventure.
But somehow he was comforted. It was rather splendid to be wearing a blade made in Gondolin for the goblin-wars of which so many songs had sung; and also he had noticed that such weapons made a great impression on goblins that came upon them suddenly.
