What new enemies does the group meet, and how do they escape?

The group, fleeing from the goblins meet up with the wargs (think wolves), who are actually friends of the goblins their rushing to escape. They are saved by the eagles, who upon seeing them from the mountain swoop the group up and carry them away. The eagles are allied with Gandalf.
