Is the hobbit offensive to any religion?

I like the Hobbit; you might give it another try. There is also a movie coming out soon! In any case, I suppose the magic, wizards....might offend some Conservative Christians. They tend to look down on that sort of stuff. Still, in some Christian circles, the balance and fight between good and evil can be seen as a Biblical allegory. I don't think other religions really much care whether the book is compatible with their faith.
