What character in hiding place is the easiest to like?

There are a lot of sympathetic characters in The Hiding Place. I really like Corrie ten Boom. She is the protagonist of "The Hiding Place." Corrie is a joyful middle-aged woman, unmarried and unfashionable, who dedicates her life to serving others and sharing the Bible. She is Holland's first licensed female watchmaker.
