What is King to Maverick exactly?
King and maverick were both King Lords, but were they anything other or more than just fellow game players

King is the leader of the King Lords, the gang that Maverick once belonged to. The gang is also the only connection between the two, other than the fact that King is the man Maverick did time for is prison. Maverick went to jail for a crime that King committed.

The king lords connection to maverick starr's father is the fact that he used to be apart of a gang with him and maverick spent time in jail for a crime that he didnt commit. So king out away and maverick went to jail... when he got out he cheated on his wife lisa with this woman iesha which got her pregnant and thats how seven starr's step brother came into play
