What is Tom's view of instinct?

Tom and Amanda both have a view of instinct. What are they? Briefly discuss each.

I think Amanda's instinct is for animals. Is it correct?

What about Tom's? I need the answer as soon as possible please><

Tom has more of an animal like instinct as well. He wants to escape he wants adventure. Just like a tiger or another wild animal he wants to be free.
