How do their daily rituals enhance the close bond between family members?

The family does have sharing time and they become closer to a point. The social exchanges are, however, controlled and superficial. There is little depth to them largely because the parents are only slightly more emotionally literate than their children. All understanding of things is seen through the limited lens of allowed experience in the community.
