According to the blue man, why can't people talk when they first arrive at heaven?

The Blue Man tells Eddie that you cannot talk when you get to Heaven because not speaking helps one to listen.

"Your voice will come. We all go through the same thing. You cannot talk when you first arrive." He smiled. "It helps you listen."
