Book question
In Chapter 27, Reef visits Leeza for the last time. Describe the effect of this last meeting? Could the novel end here? Why or why not?

Reef's final visit with Leeza is a fiasco. Had her mother not been present... or had her mother allowed her to hear Reef out (had Leeza chosen to do so), we might have seen closure. Possibly, the book could have ended here and left us hanging. I'm glad the author chose to go on.
