Are you reading the play by Goodrich and Hackett? The diary itself? At any rate, if you are in scenes, I am assuming you have the play. Anne's innocence is shown by her interest in the adolescent things (friends, etc) common to her age at the beginning of the diary; her lack of fear for the family and what the Nazis could (and will) do to them, and her focus on school, the Lyceum, which she does not really emphasize (thus avoiding deep consideration as adolescents often do) is the only school she is allowed to go to.
