What lies did the nazis tell the Jews?

A Nazi officer steps forward and tells the villagers to remain quiet and do as he says. He instructs them to lie on the ground so that his officers can move among them and take their jewelry and papers for safekeeping. This is obviously a lie. The Jews are also told that they are being relocated for their own safety, which is a complete lie. They will be sent to death camps.
