How is Christopher memory “like a film”? How do pictures he keeps in his head from the pictures in most people’s heads?

Chris only keeps factual information in his head. Other people also have pictures in their heads, but unlike Christopher's, their images contain things that are not real or did not happen. Most people fill in their own detail.
