Explain Dante's methods of revenge against different charters. Were these acts justified?

Edmund gets back at Danglars, Caderousse, Fernand Mondago, and Villefort. They are all in Paris and Edmund goes about revenge in different ways. One of the themes in the book involves Dantes losing his identity in the revenge he takes. I would check out the summary because it would take a lot of space and time for me to write the same thing out. This is a huge book!
