First Confession

Jackie loves his parents, but their relationship is based more upon disciplinary parenting than actually understanding the actions of their son. Jack is disciplined, but no one takes the time to explain their explanations or why something is considered right or wrong. Confession terrifies Jackie, as he is certain that he will go to hell for his bad behavior. He doesn't take responsibility for his actions and blames his naughtiness on everyone but himself. In turn, his parents do not even try to understand the reasons for his behavior, and they respond with anger and beatings.... something that only teaches him to become angry.
