Why does Holden nearly "drop dead" when he learns that Stradlater is going out witj Jane Gallagher?

Holden is in love with Jane. She is one of the few people in his life that he considers "real". Holden hates Stradlater. Holden thinks Stradlater is a phony poser who will use Jane for sex.
