The Catcher in the Rye

confused:/

I have a project to do on the "background" of this book and i cant think of something to do because it cant be a poster. Also, i wouldnt know what to do on the background so i just decided to look up pictures of the places holden visits to make a video but theres like 8 places... i really cant think of anything

It might be interesting to focus on the background of Holden as a child, when his brother Allie was still around. We get some glimpses into this when he chooses to spend time with Phoebe at the end of the novel, but also Holden gives us details about his brother when he uses the baseball mitt as a stumulus for Stradlater's essay in Chapter 5.
