Geoffrey Chaucer is the one who made the Canterbury tales that is composed of 116 verse tales.Son of John and Agnes Chaucer.John Chaucer is a prosperous wine merchant.And Agnes Chaucer is good in leathers.Geoffrey Chaucer is also known as the Father of English Literature.

Before William Shakespeare, Geoffrey Chaucer was the preeminent English poet, and he remains in the top tier of the English canon. He also was the most significant poet to write in Middle English.
