What does the Monk think of the argument that holy men shouldn't hunt animals?

"Of priking and of hunting for the hare was al his lust, for no cost wolde he spare"(191-192).

The monk does not believe that holy men should not hunt. He believes they should be able to do as they like..... and he does!
