why are shumel and Brunos name unfamiliar with eachother?what did they say about eachothers name?

Each of the boys say they've never met anyone with each other's names before. Shmuel comments that there are dozens of boys who share his name on his side of the fence, and that he wished he had a name all of his own. Bruno responds that he is the only one he knows with the name of Bruno, to which Shmuel responds "Then you're lucky."
