Describe the one person Bruno knew to be mad?

Herr Roller was the one person Bruno knew to be mad. He was about the same age as Bruno's father, lived near them in Berlin, and Bruno used to watch him walk up and down the streets arguing with himself. In fact, the man was so loopy that Bruno described his attempts to fight with himself and punch his own shadow.
