The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
Bruno
Why Bruno is always serious ?
Why Bruno is always serious ?
I believe these questions have all been answered at a previous time. Bruno is attempting to understand his new surroundings and the implications of the world on the other side of the fence and how he relates to that world. He isn't old enough to understand where he is, or his father's position.... except to know that his father is respected and important. Bruno's world has been altered, he's been taken from things he knows and moved into a place he doesn't understand. I wouldn't describe him as serious, as much as I'd describe him as baffled.
