1. Why does Max want to get up and walk out of the Hubermann’s home? What does he actually do? Why?

Max is feeling guilty for putting others in danger; he stays with the Hubermanns. He eats, and then promptly throws up because he's been so long without food...... then he falls asleep in Liesel's bed.......... oh oh, he's supposed to be hiding in the basement!
