Preparing to write a paper on the Analects of Confucius, do you have any suggestions for how I might write an analysis of this work?

My class is World History 1500, which ranges from the ancients to 1500 AD. My teacher is pretty relaxed on how exactly we write the paper. It basically needs to be 5-10 pages and answer some sort of question, for example, "Imagine that you were the student of Confucius and had to research his teachings in order for othe students to be able to glean wisdom and knowledge from your writings. What would you write about? How would you connect the analects of Confucius to him and his life? Of all the analects, which would you focus on and why?" The question can really be anything like that, as the professor is very flexible and just wants us to think and stretch.

I'm just feeling stuck at this point, but know I want to write a paper about the Analects of Confucius, as my first paper for this class revolved around the general life and characteristics of Confucius and a few of his followers.

Please help.
