Why do you think Huck and Jim go along with Tom’s ideas? CH 34-38

Tom is pretty bossy. Although Tom's plans are impractical and overdone, Huck and Jim see Tom as clever. I think Huck is just beginning to discover that Huck is not all that he once thought he was.
