"Coming of age" simply means a maturation into adulthood that the character goes through. Huck certainly grows from a mischievous boy to a young man with his own sense of right and wrong. He sees the South and all its hypocrisy and bigotry. Huck understands that he doesn't want to settle down and that adventure is a good thing.
