How is Huck's Pap depicted?

Huck's Pap is depicted as Huck's  abusive, alcoholic, broke father who returns early in the book to claim custody over him. Pap cares nothing for Huck, he only want's his son's money that Huck recieved at the end of Tom Sawyer.
