How does the descrption of the house contribute to the characterization of the three daughters? how are they different from the Grangerfords

The house was big enough to supply rooms for Huck and his retinue. It had a lot of knic knacks and niceties. It was a bit frilly, very comfortable, but it was also very formal. The girls are different from the Grangerfords; they are very kind and VERY smart. But their kindness wins out, even when one of the girls says she doesn't believe Huck, the other makes her apologize. Huck doesn't like lying to them and even less the fact that they're planning on stealing from them.
