Why does junior draw pictures?

Junior uses his art, mostly comics, to deal with the pain of being poor, Indian, and "funny" looking. His art has a self-deprecating sense of humor to it that keeps Junior from taking life too seriously. It is an outlet for his teenage and socio-cultural angst.
