Homework! Chapter 6
Junior's parents are stunned by his request, but once he prods them, they confess that they, too, believe that white people have a better chance at achieving happiness. Therefore, they agree to work hard in order to allow Junior to transfer to Reardan. Junior is nervous, though, because he knows all the Indians on the reservation will think he is a traitor to the tribe. This shows that Junio's parents are open minded and, despite how whites have treated them, want what is best for Junior.
Junior parents were stunned by that question, but they wanted the best for their child even tho they couldn't afford it. But his parents said that the Indians would be mad about how he left the Rez. Its shows that his parents are supportive and want what's best for him.
