What was your first and final impressions of mr and Mrs fisher

My first impression was that the parents wer not in tune with the feelings of their son Paul. Paul's parents are pretty oblivious to their family dynamics. They seem to ignore conflict within the family and choose to look happy rather than actually be happy. They favour their sociopathik son Erik because he shows some promise in football. My final impression was that these were bad parents. They did not want bad feelings between brothers so they lied about how Paul was blinded. In reality Eric is a bully to his brother despite being the reason Paul was blinded by him. His parents just compound the stress and the emotional dysfunction between the two brothers.
