How is Paul and Tino's brother, Luis, the same? And how are they different?

Luis is the older brother of Theresa and Tino. He’s quite a bit older than them and almost acts as a father figure to them. He manages their family’s tangerine groves. He is devoted to the groves and has been developing a new kind of tangerine that he calls the Golden Dawn. Paul is also devoted to people and things that he cares for, Paul stays up all night with Tino and Luis to save the tangerines. Paul is also empathetic like Luis.
