"faces as quiet and white as their uniforms."

Metaphor (Page 109)

She comes in a big balloon “green as slime, printed with titan pictures of winged scorpions, ancient phoenixes, smokes, fires, clouded weathers”

Hyperbole (Page 96)

"Jim and me be cannibalized."
