what games do they play?

Games during this time were more or less challenges, but none-the-less, there are a few different kinds......

First, the Green Knight's challenge, in itself, is a game. Then you have the erotic game played by Gawain and Lady Bertilak. In a twist, the two never become lovers, but the Lady does gift Gawain with a magic girdle instead. She has turned away his advances so to speak...... and he will be protected from the blades of his enemies.
