Emily rose was based on a german catholic woman that was said to be taken by demons, and was lacked by god. She stopped seeing doctors and stopped eating. She was 68 pounds when she died in her sleep. Anneliese Michel

was the womans name. She wrote in her diary about a girl she used to see. Rumors were she called her Emily Rose.
