Act III, Scene I, is set outside on the Verona street, where Benvolio and Mercutio are waiting for Romeo to meet them. While they wait, Tybalt and Petruccio happen to see them first, and start a quarrel.... the atmosphere is filled with tension, Tybalt makes it clear that he is looking for Romeo. He wants to punish for sneaking into the Capulets' masked party the previous day.
