Mr. Morrison is a friend of Mr. Logan's from the railroad. He recently lost his job after getting into a fight with some white men, and Mr. Logan offered him a place to stay at his farm, in exchange for Mr. Morrison's assistance in protecting his family. Morrison is described as a large, strong, older man...... and he is loyal to the core.
