How did Maha and Karim affect each other's lives?

Though much younger than Karim, it is Maha who opens his eyes to new possibilities..... to thinking outside the norm, and to question things that he perceives to be the right thing.... and to acknowledge that what we believe is the right thing.... isn't always as cut and dry as what it seems. As young as she is, Maha shows Karim the value of true independence, as well as the value of being true to oneself.
