Bradbury's "The Veldt"
Bradbury's "The Veldt"
George and Lydia attempt to explain why they think the room is a bad influence on the children. They explain that the house has made them all complacent. The house has made things too easy for all of them. The nursery is no longer a place that nurtures them rather it is a place where they indulge their undisciplined minds. The children react with tantrums and threats.
