Who is your favourite character so far in purple hibiscus novel? Who is your least favourite character? Please explain your answers.

I like the protagonist Kambili Achike. She really lives through a lot at her young age. She is able to see through all the rhetoric handed down by her father, politics, religion....Though she retains her faith through several horrendous events, Kambili learns to question authority when necessary.

I didn't like Papa (Eugene Achike) too much. He expects nothing less than perfection from his family. Papa punishes his wife and children in order to correct their behaviour.
