Poe's Poetry

The Cask of Amontillado.
I don't think there is anything out of sort within the context of Poe's stories. They all feature unreliable or "crazy" narrators who imagine all manner of wrongs done against them. The Cask of Amontillado is really no different. Constructing a wall around the drunk hapless Fortunato under the bowls of Paris is rather macabre but that is the delight to many readers.
