who is the target audience for the play?

Ive seen a website that says its for all audience if this is true, can someone help me with what was the needs, values, and beliefs of the target audience and how did this influence the themes and the characters of the play?

I don't think children would really enjoy this play. Adult audiences with an understanding of social dynamics and rural life would appreciate the play the most.
